Palette Cleanser

Look at what my aunt brought back for me from the Bahamas: rum cake! She didn't buy any bottles of rum though. Methinks her priorities aren't quite right lol. Anyway, it's giving me some ideas for later. Like a more relevantly pirate-themed collection

And my NOTD. Two coats of New York Color Hint of Mint + Revlon Gold Coin for stamping. The light base really brings out the silver in GC.

By the way, the cake was delicious!

Is this work appropriate?

This is one careful coat of Revlon's Copper Penny, but the middle finger could have used two because I am not always careful. Plus stamping with Sinful's Black on Black using Mash plate m57 and topcoat. Pardon the slight (only 3 hours :(...) tip-wear.

Ahh, but I didn't use a base-coat (I wasn't planning on wearing this as an actual mani) and there was no staining and no chips even after five days!

Anyway, this probably isn't work appropriate but no one noticed (or at least no one said anything) but we were in the middle of launching a new project last week. Though I did get called out for wearing dark blue polish a few months ago. /pout

How do people do this?

I don't mean blog on a regular basis. *snort* I am trying to be better, though. I really am. No, I'm talking about having long nails. I've been growing out my nails and slowly losing my mind at the same time.Anyway, enough whingeing.

Two coats NYC Persistently Putty stamped with Revlon Copper Penny using Mash plate m44.

I know this taupey color has been overdone, but I am not sick of it at all. This one leans a bit more purple in real life.

More Stamping

Paillette got me in the mood for reds, so blame her for this. :P

Base is two coats New York Color Chelsea, a squishy looking red with pink shimmer. I stamped with Revlon's Gold Coin. I couldn't figure out how to do the thumb right, so I didn't. Ha! Also, the design didn't transfer completely, but that's mostly operator error.

Stamped Franken Skittles!

Got the Mash plates I ordered! I was so excited I couldn't wait to stamp!

I used 3/4 of the music design from the m73 plate. Pardon the three day tip-wear (and the crooked stamping).

Watermelon Nails

It's really, really hot so less typing.

I was mixing up something with Sinful Color's San Francisco, and I noted how much it reminded me of watermelon rind. So I...

The pink is a franken of New York Color's Penn Station + a small dab of LA Colors' Live.
The light green is #1 attempt from my previous post but any mint green would do.
The dark green is Sinful's San Francisco.
